There are a number of ways to temporarily hold data in T-SQL.
This month we'll discuss many of them along with use cases and limitations.
We'll probably include your favorite go-to solutions, some you remember seeing but have never used and some you will probably want to try once you see them.
I plan on covering the old-timers like pound tables (#) along with some of the newer ideas like CTEs (Common Table Expressions) and Row Value tables.
We'll keep it as simple as possible for the newbies but will cover enough info that even the most experience data professional will leave with some techniques to try.
