This month we will be delving into some SQL Server administration stuff.
Maintenance Plans or Not
This presentation will give an Overview of Maintenance Plans. Attendees will see how to setup maintenance plans the default way. Attendees will see a demonstration on an alternative way to create maintenance plans using SQL Agent Jobs running Powershell scripts and T-SQL scripts.

AJ has been working with SQL Server for nearly 10 years. He currently works in a data center on a team with 4 other DBAs supporting over 150 database in all shapes and sizes. He has volunteered for several PASS program committees and attended his first SQL Saturday in the spring of 2010 in Dallas. He is a member of the Austin Chapter of PASS (CACTUSS) and loves anything database related.

I have the location selected St. Edwards north campus. We are moving the date to April 30th to accommodate other events at the end of March and beginning of April. This date isn’t final but I don’t see anything keeping it from being so.
